3 Ways To Get Caramel Hair Colour

Number 1 – Lightening your hair to achieve the desired shade

If you have dark hair and would like to lighten it, then you will need to use a bleaching product. A toner is applied afterwards to achieve the desired shade.

Be careful not to get your colour too light as this can cause damage to your hair, but if you’re happy with the results then that’s all that matters!

Number 2 – Using toner to achieve the desired shade

Using a toner can be just as effective as using bleach to get your desired shade. Toner products usually come in the form of creams, sprays and rinses; all of which have different strengths so you should choose one that best suits your hair type.

Toner used without bleaching will only lighten stubborn strands of hair which means that you may need to repeat this process several times before reaching your desired colour. However, using a toner after bleaching is much more effective because it removes any brassiness left behind by the bleach and helps set the tone for further colouring sessions (i.e. if you’re going from blonde to caramel). If you want to remove yellow tones from your hair then opt for an ash-based toner rather than an orange one or else it could end up making things worse!

Number 3 – Choosing caramel highlights or lowlights

If you want to add dimension to your caramel hair, highlights or lowlights may be a good option. Highlights are single shades of color that are applied individually throughout the hair in order to create a feathering effect. Lowlights are similar, but instead of adding multiple colors throughout the hair they provide contrast by adding darker shades around the roots and crown.

Choosing between highlights or lowlights depends on what look you’re going for: if you have dark hair and are looking for something subtle, then highlights may be best; if you have medium-to-light colored strands with more natural-looking ends then lowlights might work better for your complexion.

Either way, both options will add depth and shine to an otherwise flat shade like caramel can sometimes appear as being due to its lack of variation when compared with other shades such as blonde or red.

Caramel coloured hair is a gorgeous, on-trend look but it’s important that you choose the right process for achieving the look.

There are several ways to get caramel coloured hair and the right choice will depend on your natural hair colour. If you’re a brunette with a medium-dark complexion, then toning might be the best option for you. If you have lighter skin and blonde or red hair, then highlights may be best for your skin tone. Alternatively, if you have darker skin and dark brown or black locks, lowlights may complement your complexion better than highlights (as they give off more warmth).
