How do I apply red hair dye?

The first thing you’ll need to do is prep your hair. You can either use a shampoo and conditioner combo for this step, or just the shampoo. We recommend using the shampoo since it will ensure that all of the dye gets washed out. Leave it in for 3-5 minutes, rinse it out thoroughly, then apply another round of shampoo and conditioner on top of that if needed.

If you choose to use a brush or comb while applying red hair dye (and we highly recommend doing so), start by applying a small amount of developer over the roots only (the part closest to your scalp). Then sweep down through each section until all sections are covered with developer and ready for coloring! Once everything has been mixed together and applied evenly throughout all parts of your head (including around edges), let sit for 30 minutes before rinsing out again with warm water until all residue has been removed from locks/scalp/skin surrounding area where color was applied…
