Summer Fun Hair

Short cropped

Short hair is the easiest to style, and with so many different variations (bob, pixie cut), you can try out a new look every week! This year I plan on growing my hair out from an asymmetrical bob to a wavy lob. If you’re not into the idea of taking scissors to your locks though, short hair still has its perks: it’s easy to maintain and work around in any kind of weather. With summer approaching, I’ve been thinking about ways that I can keep cool while still looking good—and short cropped styles are perfect for this!

Here are some ways that short cropped hairstyles will help you beat the heat this summer:

Medium length

If you’re looking for a length that’s easy to maintain and versatile, shoulder-length hair is the perfect choice. This length looks good on both curly and straight hair, and it can be styled in a variety of ways.

A great way to style shoulder length hair is by tying it back into a loose ponytail or messy bun. If you have bangs, this will keep them out of your face while also keeping your look chic. If you don’t have bangs, try putting them into a low side ponytail or clipping them back with bobby pins or clips if they’re getting in your eyes.

Another way to style shoulder length hair is by wearing it down with long layers cut around the face so that there are no blunt lines when wearing your natural texture instead of styling products like gel or mousse (which will likely make the rest of your head look greasy). This gives off an “undone” vibe without being sloppy—perfect for those hot summer days when we want our hair off our necks but still want something manageable!

Long and flowing

You can wear your hair long and flowing in many ways. You can do it up, down or straightened out. You can also have a combination of curly ends and straight bangs. This style works well if you want to keep your hair out of the way while swimming, but still show off its length.

Hair styles with bangs

Bangs are a fun way to change your appearance, but they can also be a pain. The best style of bangs depends on your face shape and hair texture (think straight or curly). Bangs are usually cut long, short, straight or angled. They complement certain face shapes better than others. For example:

  • If you have an oval-shaped face with high cheekbones, then it’s best to grow out your sideburns instead of wearing them closely cropped so as not to make your cheeks look too wide for the rest of your features.
  • Longer bangs work well for round faces because they add width and balance out fullness on top of the head by creating a sort of pyramid effect from jawline down through shoulders then widening out at hips before tapering into legs/feet where everything comes together again like one big circle within another smaller one (you could draw this if needed; just remember which side was longer so that later when we talk about how some people get mixed up about whether their heads should be smaller than their bodies).

Tied up hair styles

Tied up hair styles are great for the summer because they keep your hair out of your face and offer some protection from the sun. You can do tied-up styles with any length of hair; if your hair is long enough, try one of these!

  • Ponytails: A classic style that’s easy to create and looks great on every woman. Try styling it with different kinds of bobby pins or other accessories like bows, flowers and more!
  • Buns: Another classic option that works especially well on thick or curly haired people because it can hold up their curls without causing them to frizz too much. Try using a few bobby pins around the edges to help secure the bun in place even more securely than usual – just be careful not to pull too hard while pinning so as not to damage any part of your head or pull out any strands from within your bun itself (ouch!).

Easy to do formal styles

You don’t have to spend hours in the salon to get a formal style. In fact, there are lots of simple, easy ways to look like you’ve spent all day on your hair. Here are some ideas:

  • Headbands and clips
  • Buns
  • French twists (French braid)
  • Fishtail braids (braids that cross over and under each other)
  • Waterfall braids (braids that hang down from the top of your head)

Ponytails, braids and twists

Ponytails and braids are a great way to keep your hair out of the way while you’re enjoying the summer heat. There are many different kinds of ponytails, some more official than others. The most popular is probably the half-ponytail: perfect for those who want to show off their latest haircut or color (just don’t forget to use hairspray). It’s also important not to lose your hair tie! If you do get caught without one, there are other options such as bobby pins or even rubber bands—just make sure they match your outfit so they don’t clash with it. A few other styles include pigtails (two or four), chunky braids (as seen in this photo), mini twists with extensions for added volume, flat twists without extensions but lots of sponges underneath…the list goes on and on!

Braid-outs are another great way to wear your hair in the summertime; they’ll keep any stray ends under control while preserving moisture levels at all times by keeping them moisturized through regular conditioning treatments while letting them dry naturally instead of using heat tools like blowdryers which tend cause damage over time. Braiding styles range from simple French twist outs (like this one)

Fun colors for summer hair

This year, we’re all about fun colors for summer hair. Whether you want to go bold or have a more subtle look, there’s a color out there that will complement your skin tone.

Here are some tips for choosing the right summer hair color:

  • If you have fair skin, try one of the many shades of pastels like turquoise, pink and yellow. These colors can act as a neutral and flatter your complexion.
  • If you’re tanner than average, opt for a deep shade like blue or purple—the deeper they are, the better they’ll hide any imperfections on your skin (such as freckles). They also look great against darker complexions because they provide contrast without being too jarring!
  • No matter what color(s) you choose in order to get ready for summertime fun—whether it’s temporary highlights or full-on dye job—remember that proper care is essential when switching things up so that no damage occurs during this process.”

The best hair style for you is the one that suits your lifestyle, personality and does not damage your hair.

The best hair style for you is the one that suits your lifestyle, personality and does not damage your hair.

  • Choose a style that works with your hair type and face shape:
  • If you have curly or wavy hair, you have more options than those with straight locks. You can wear it loose or tie it back in a ponytail or bun.
  • If you have fine, thinning hair, avoid styles that pull at the roots as this will increase shedding and breakage. Braids are great if they’re done well so go to an expert!
  • Do not use heat on your hair too often: Heat styling tools such as blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons (even those listed as “safe for curly/wavy/kinky”) can all cause damage to curls because they cause increased friction between strands when used too often or improperly—especially when used on dry curls that aren’t moisturized first! This includes hot air brushes too! They may seem like an easy way out but trust me when I say there are better ways to get beautiful natural looking waves without all the fuss or high maintenance required by these tools plus they’re harmful for our health over time as well so don’t even think about using any kind of heated styling tool unless absolutely necessary (like maybe once every few months if even then).
