How to Dye Your Hair With Home Remedies

Henna

Henna is a plant that grows in the desert. The leaves of this plant can be dried and ground into a powder, which can then be mixed with water to make a paste. This paste can then be applied to hair by using a plastic bag or cap (a small towel) to cover your head while it dries. You should leave it on for 4-6 hours before shampooing out your hair!

Beet juice and walnut shells

  • To make the dye, mix 1 cup of beet juice with 1/4 cup of walnut shells.
  • Apply the mixture to your hair and leave it on for as long as you can stand it—10 minutes should be enough.
  • Wash off thoroughly with shampoo and water, then rinse out well.
  • You’ll know the dye is working if your skin turns pink or red while you’re in the shower! The color will wash off when you shampoo again (and any time after that).
  • If this doesn’t happen, don’t worry: there’s still hope! Add more beet juice and walnut shells to your hair next time around; this should give a stronger color fix than before (and maybe even work better than when using plain beet).

Black coffee

Before you decide to use coffee dye, make sure you understand the properties of this natural home remedy. Mixing your own hair color can be very simple. All you need is ground coffee and an acidic ingredient like lemon juice or vinegar. If possible, try to use an organic brand of coffee since many people are sensitive to pesticides and other chemicals in non-organic foods.

The first step is mixing your ingredients together by adding a few tablespoons of ground coffee beans into a small bowl with about one cup of boiling water (the more water used, the less concentrated your mixture will be). As soon as the water begins to boil, remove it from heat and add either lemon juice or vinegar until you reach a dark brown color similar to dried blood—this should take about 1/4 cup for most people’s desired shade of black hair dye!

Now comes application time: simply rub this mixture into dry hair using gloves before letting it sit on for at least 30 minutes with plastic wrap over it (this prevents any evaporation). Once complete, wash out with shampoo as normal but avoid getting too close while rinsing off since some dye may still remain in place even after washing out completely! You’ll know how well these methods work when applied correctly based on how dark they turn out when compared against other known sources such as hot cocoa powder mixed with cold water instead–if yours comes closer then all good things will come true 🙂

Chamomile tea

Chamomile tea is an anti-inflammatory, which means it can help your hair stay healthy. Chamomile tea also helps people with dandruff, so if you have either of those issues, this might be the right choice for you.

To dye your hair with chamomile tea:

  • Boil two cups of water on the stovetop or in a microwave-safe mug.
  • Add some dried chamomile flowers to the boiling water and let them steep for 10 to 15 minutes until most of the liquid has been absorbed by them (don’t strain out any bits).

Sage tea

You’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of dried sage
  • 1 cup water, boiling (or more if you have a larger amount of hair)

To make the tea, boil one cup of water and pour it over half a cup of dried sage. Let it steep for five minutes or so to let all the flavor come out. Strain out any excess herbs after it cools and put your dye in a spray bottle with water. Spray on your hair every day until you reach your desired color!

Rhubarb roots

Rhubarb roots are effective natural hair colorants. Beets, which are also reddish in color, are an especially good option for a home-made dye if you have dark or black hair. Rhubarb root is actually a type of vegetable, and it has been used as medicine since ancient times.

Natural hair dyes can be made from household products!

You can use a mixture of black coffee, walnut shells and beets juice to dye your hair. The ingredients will create a brown shade that will last for weeks.

Coating the hair with a mixture of rhubarb roots, chamomile tea and sage tea leaves will also help you get the color you want.
