Brush your hair and use the best conditioner. A good conditioner is essential! You don’t want to start dyeing your hair then find out you forgot to apply it.
Protect yourself by using Vaseline around the root of your neck, ears and eye area where you are prone to skin irritation from the harsh chemicals found in most hair dyes.
Wash off any existing product on your face before applying makeup or doing anything else that could cause irritation once you have applied this dye since it will be more likely to cause problems if there is already something else on your skin/face that could be potentially harmful when mixed with this new product (i.e., foundation).

Apply the hair dye from roots to ends, then let it sit for 5 minutes.
Rinse with warm water and comb your hair gently just before applying the shampoo and conditioner (to prevent color transfer)
