20 looks for under $15

A trippy two-toned look.

This look is super trendy, and it’s a great way to try out new hair colors without permanently committing. You can easily achieve this look with temporary hair dye, which you can find at your local drugstore or Target. The best part? It’s only going to cost you $10!

First things first: if your goal is to go bold with your hair color, it’s important that you have self-confidence in yourself before attempting this look. If you’re still getting used to being comfortable in your own skin, try experimenting with bright makeup first—you’ll get more comfortable being colorful while still feeling safe in who are.

Once that part is settled, all that’s left is finding a color combination! Play around with different combinations until something speaks to you; some combos may be easier than others depending on how long or thick your hair is (for example shorter people may want something bolder). However if nothing seems appealing after trying out several different ideas then consider taking inspiration from nature itself by choosing a rainbow hue for example!

A two-toned look that’s a bit more subtle.

  • A two-toned look that’s a bit more subtle.
  • Works well with many different face shapes and skin tones.

This is also a great look for people who don’t want to make a huge statement with their hair color, but want something interesting and fun. It’s quick to put in, easy to maintain (you can just do touch ups every few weeks or so), and it works well with almost any skin tone or hair type.

The classic bohemian braid.

The bohemian braid has been around for a while, but it’s still as cute and trendy as ever. This style works best on long hair, but you can wear it short too! It’s perfect for summertime because the braided look will not give you heatstroke in the sun. If you have a bohemian braid on your head while walking along the beach, everyone will think that you’ve just come back from vacation (even if they know better).

If you want to take this look up a notch without going full-on hippie chic, try wearing some statement earrings with it or accessorizing with a choker necklace. Or maybe even throw on some bangles to balance out your outfit!

A thick and funky braid.

It’s time to look at the next hair color: a thick, funky braid. You’ll need a curling iron or some hot rollers and a few minutes of your time to make this happen. If you’ve never done this before, check out some YouTube tutorials for help with the braiding process. Remember to brush your hair thoroughly before starting; otherwise, it won’t hold up! Once you have everything set up, start by parting off one side of your head and pulling back pieces from each side into two sections (one on each side). Take these two sections over each ear in opposite directions until they meet at the back of your head where they will cross over each other. Then take one loose section from each side and tie it around the base of both crossings—that should keep them in place while you continue braiding!

An intricate up-do for later in the evening.

A night out calls for a dressier look, but you don’t have to break the bank or do your hair yourself. Many salons offer up-dos, which are essentially fancy ponytails. They’re perfect if you want to show off a bold color like pink or blue and don’t want it hidden beneath layers of extensions or curls. To get this look at home, use your favorite hairspray (and maybe some bobby pins) to curl some sections of your hair with a flat iron before setting them into place with bobby pins. You can use any type of hair tie that’s comfortable in order to secure the rest of your style—a headband will work just as well as an elastic band from around your wrist!

A grown-out pixie cut with soft bangs.

A grown-out pixie cut with soft bangs is a great look for those who want something cool and flirty, but don’t want to go all the way. You can get this hairstyle in any color or texture that you like, from baby-soft blonde to dark brunette.

The best thing about this style is that it’s easy to maintain and style on your own. You can clean up strays with a small round brush or dry shampoo (if you got too crazy at the gym). If you need an extra boost on wash day, use a texturizing spray for volume at the roots and lightly tease your roots with a comb before drying—this will give it some extra lift!

If you’re transitioning from short hair into this longer version, allow yourself time: growing out takes patience. If possible, try not to cut off too much at once (eek!) so your face doesn’t start looking misshapen when you grow out bangs after shaving them off—it’s called “keepin’ it real” for a reason!

Long wavy locks.

You can choose to create long, wavy locks with the help of a curling iron or a brush. Just use your fingers to separate your hair into sections and then curl away. For an even more defined look, use a crimper instead of a curling iron.

A shorter, angled bob.

If you’re looking for a new hairdo, but don’t want to spend more than $15 on it, try this angled bob. It’s a classic style that looks great in any color and works well with any outfit—especially if you have short hair and need something quick and easy to do. You can even wear it with no bangs or side-swept bangs, depending on how much time you have in your schedule!

This year’s version of the Rachel cut.

The Rachel cut is a popular hairstyle from the 1990s that made its way back into style earlier this year. This is a shoulder length layered cut, and it can easily be adapted to whatever length you want. If you want something shorter, go for a bob; if you’re looking for something longer, consider going with a full blowout style like [this one](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/125027170145770035/) or [this one](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/125027170145987591/?lp=true).

The full blowout style.

This look is super easy to do with a flat iron, and works well with any hair color. You don’t need to spend a lot of money on expensive products to achieve this style—just use your regular shampoo and conditioner!

Ombre on long hair.

If you have long hair and want to try ombre, go for it! It looks best on light brown or blonde hair, but I think it would look pretty cool in red and purple as well. If you’re like me and have a lot of dark roots, try using a temporary color first so that you can see if you actually like the look before committing to it.

I love this particular dye because it comes with everything you need: the top coat (which prevents your roots from showing through), conditioner, gloves (not pictured), brush applicator sponge thingy… basically everything except for scissors and maybe some petroleum jelly or vaseline if your face gets irritated easily. And it only costs about $12 at most places including Target!

Ombre on short hair.

  • Ombre is a gradual fade from dark to light.
  • You can use any color for ombre, including grey if you want to look like an extra on The Handmaid’s Tale.
  • Here are some examples of ombre styles:

Rose gold grey hair.

Rose gold grey hair is a mix of rose gold and grey. The color can be created by mixing purple and pink temporary hair color, which you can buy in drug stores or craft stores. You can also create your own rose gold shade from a mix of natural ingredients like beetroot, lemon juice and table salt!

If you want to change your look often, this is the best option for you: it’s easy to dye out if it doesn’t suit your style or desired color.

Mix and match colors depending on your mood! You can use temporary colors and then wash them out when you’re ready to change styles again! Don’t be afraid to get creative!

If you want to mix up your look, temporary colors are a great way to do so! They’re also easy on your wallet and can be easily washed out when you’re ready for a new style. You can try mixing different colors and patterns together, just like I did here with my pink hair and blue streaks. The possibilities are endless!

There are lots of ways you can change your hair without breaking the bank!

  • You can do this yourself at home.
  • Temporary hair dyes are a great way to try out different looks without committing to anything permanent.
  • Don’t be afraid to get creative!
  • Use different colored hair extensions or hair pieces, like the ones from etsy seller “Kisses & Licks”.
