Temporary hair color

Temporary hair color is a great option if you’re looking for a little something new, but don’t want to commit to a permanent change. Temporary hair color washes out after as few as 24 shampoos, so it’s perfect for testing out a new shade without making any big changes.

The most common way that temporary hair coloring works is by depositing color pigments onto your hair via an ammonia-based developer (usually along with some other ingredients). It washes right out when your next shampoo hits your locks!

There are many brands of temporary dyes on the market—here are some examples of their colors:

  • Wella Koleston Perfect Intense Red R32
  • Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Colour Blossoms Light Brown/Golden Beige 5N1

Semi-permanent hair color

Semi-permanent hair color is a great option if you want to cover your grays and still be able to wash and style your hair. It lasts about 12 shampoos, so it’s easy to maintain. This means that you can go longer between appointments than with other types of dye! Semi-permanent dyes are also popular because they can be used in combination with highlights or darkening, depending on what look you’re after. This type of dye does not contain ammonia and doesn’t require mixing with developer, so it’s easy to apply at home without hurting yourself or damaging your locks.

Demi-permanent hair color

Demi-permanent hair color, or demi, is a hair dye that lasts 12 to 24 shampoos. It adds shine, blends grays and boosts your current color. This product can be used to cover roots between salon appointments or add dimension when you want to update your look without changing your base color.

Demi dyes do not lighten the hair or damage it like permanent dyes do. The main difference between demi and permanent dyes is they both contain ammonia but demipermanent has less ammonia than permanent so it only stays in the hair for a few days before washing out completely

Permanent hair color

Permanent hair color is the best choice for covering gray. It lasts the longest and can be used to lighten or darken hair. However, it’s also the most damaging and should only be applied by a professional in a salon.

Hair coloring is a great way to show your personality and cover grays!

  • Hair coloring is a great way to show your personality, and it’s also a fun way to treat yourself.
  • You don’t have to go blonde or blue if you don’t want too! There are so many different shades of color that you can choose from, including reds, browns, and even black hair dye.
  • If you’re thinking about going for the big change, try out the semi-permanent option first! Semi-permanent hair dye will wash out after about 3 weeks of regular shampooing (or about 6 times). This gives you an opportunity to test out a new shade without making any permanent changes yet!
