While most people associate Kesha with her bright orange hair, sometimes she wears it straight or nearly straight (see image above).

Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose might be a familiar face if you’ve been watching Orange is the New Black, because she played Stella Carlin on the show. She’s also an Australian model and actress, who’s best known for her androgynous appearance. As an advocate for animal rights, Ruby is vegan.

You may have seen Ruby before as one of many faces on advertisements around the world—she has modeled for brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Mango (to name just a few). If that’s not enough to convince you that she’s beautiful enough to make this list, I don’t know what will!

This beautiful woman is a model, singer-songwriter and actress. She was discovered at the age of 16 in her hometown of Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. Her mother, who was working as an artist manager found Karen’s pictures and sent them to agencies; she then signed with Select Model Management and moved to London.

She has continued modeling while pursuing a music career. She appeared on two different covers for British Vogue magazine within one year: February 2003 (with Kate Moss) and January 2004 (with Cara Delevingne). Peggy Sue Deighton

Peggy Sue Deighton is a model and fashion blogger who, naturally, has orange hair. She was born in Paris, France. She opened up about her experiences growing up as an outsider due to her distinct appearance:

“I was born in Paris and spent my childhood traveling around the world with my parents. I’ve always been different because of my hair color (my favorite quote from the movie Little Shop of Horrors is ‘He’s different’), but I like being different.”

Katy Perry

Katy Perry was born in Santa Barbara, California in 1984. Her real name is Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, but she decided to change it because she didn’t want people to think her parents were hippies. She had a conservative upbringing and was not allowed to eat Lucky Charms cereal because they had “no nutritional value.” She also went to church every Sunday with her parents and sang in the choir. Her mother is a Christian singer who has released several albums of praise music under the name Kathy Taylor Hawkins (I’m sure there’s a story here).

Perry made her first appearance at age 13 during one of her mother’s concerts where she performed “I Believe In You And Me” by Whitney Houston. She later signed with Island Def Jam Records as Katy Hudson and released two albums that did very well on Billboard charts: One Of The Boys (#1) and Teenage Dream (#1). In 2010, she changed record labels again—this time signing with Capitol Records—and released Teenage Dream 2: The Complete Confection which included two new songs plus an acoustic version of each track from both albums along with three covers: “Firework” by David Bowie (which won Grammys), “California Gurls” by Snoop Dogg & Dr Dre featuring Kanye West & Mike Posner (which topped charts worldwide), “Who Am I Living For?” by LeAnn Rimes (which reached top 10), “ET” by Katy Perry featuring Kanye West & Skip Marley (another hit single).

Dying your hair orange can be fun!

Orange hair is a fun, bold way to express your individuality and uniqueness. The color itself can take on many different shades, so if you’re interested in trying it out for yourself but aren’t quite sure what shade would work best for you, here are some pointers:

  • Try not to go too dark or too light—orange hair is an attention-grabbing color that can look great when done right but tends to look unflattering when overdone. So remember: less is more!
  • You have to commit! If orange isn’t something that’s going to work with your skin tone or with the rest of your style choices (and if it won’t work well with any other colors), then don’t do it. This isn’t a decision that should be taken lightly; orange is one of those colors that attracts attention like crazy, so if people are staring at this bold hue instead of at other aspects of your appearance, then maybe staying away from this shade would be wise?
