What Is The Perfect Color For Your Skin Tone? A blog about determining the right hair color.

First, you need to identify your skin’s undertone.

To determine your skin’s undertone, look at the veins on your wrist. If they’re blue, you have a cool undertone, while green means you’re warm-toned.

Next, look at yourself in a mirror and try to determine if silver or gold jewelry looks best on you. Next time some friends or family members give you an accessory—a necklace or earrings—take it home with you and wear it for a day so that you can see how it looks on your skin tone. If gold jewelry makes your eyes pop, then chances are good that yellow is going to be one of the colors that compliments your complexion most because both have warm undertones (gold jewelry has yellowish undertones).

If this doesn’t work for whatever reason (maybe all of the silver accessories were sold out), another way is to take an old pair of sunglasses and put them over one eye without any lenses inside them (make sure the sides aren’t touching anything else) so only half of each lens remains visible; then compare what color clothing looks best beneath each lens against naked skin in natural light without any filters between them: Do these clothes make me look tanner than usual? Or do they make me look redder/sicker than usual?

Cool skin tones and colors.

Cool skin tones and colors:

If you have cool or neutral undertones, your natural coloring is usually a pale blue-ish or pinkish complexion. Your hair color should be platinum blonde, ash blonde, golden blonde and strawberry blonde with highlights of red or jet black! The good thing about this type of coloring is that it doesn’t require much maintenance; just a trip to the salon every once in awhile will do.

Warm skin tones and colors.

Warm skin tones are typically those that have yellow or gold undertones. These skin tones tend to look better in warm colors like reds, oranges and browns. If you have freckles, this means you have a warm skin tone as well!

Neutral skin and colors.

Neutral skin tones are rare. If you have neutral skin and want to wear a color that’s not going to clash with your natural coloring, then it’s probably pretty easy for you: just about any color will work!

But if you don’t know what kind of undertones your skin has (and therefore, whether or not it’s actually neutral), let’s take a look at the other types of undertones so we can figure out which ones might be best for you.

Yellow – Yellow undertones mean that there are some yellow pigments in your skin (or at least in the area around where light hits). If this sounds familiar but you’re still unsure about whether or not yellow is right for you because “yellow” can refer to so many different shades, think about how much cooler or warmer than neutral a color looks on your face. This will help narrow down which type of yellowish-ness might look best—and while green eyes aren’t necessarily a hallmark of having yellowish-toned skin (as they can appear in any hue), they’re usually reserved for those with warm browns mixed together with blues and greens—so if green makes sense as an option given what we’ve covered thus far…then maybe it does mean something after all! Pink – Someone who has pink undertones will often have freckles on their cheekbones; one good clue would be looking at any blemishes on their face: do they seem lighter? Or darker? In general though this isn’t always true as everyone has different amounts of melanin pigment throughout their body—but typically speaking those who have mostly pale complexions tend towards having pinkish-red tints; whereas those who have more olive hues tend towards having more greenish ones instead.”

If you want to experiment with hair color, start by knowing your skin’s undertone.

If you want to experiment with hair color, start by knowing your skin’s undertone. That’s because it can help determine whether or not you should go for a bold or subtle look.

If you have cool undertones (pink, red, bluish) in your skin:

You can experiment with all kinds of colors—including cool ones like violet or ash-brown—but keep in mind that they’ll look more natural if they’re paired with a cool style. For example, if you have dark brown hair and blue eyes, it makes sense for you to dye your hair violet because it blends well with those tones.
